		<description><![CDATA[There&#8217;s still lots of incredible buzz flying around about Google Plus this week.  Here&#8217;s some of the lastest snippets to keep you in the loop. Google Plus Brand Pages First, Google Plus will be experiment with brand pages in a limited test. They&#8217;ve actually asked business to refrain from using profiles as business pages. Here&#8217;s the explanation from Google Plus product manager, Christian Oestlien.  If you&#8217;d like to try and get your business in the limited test, go here and submit the form. Google Plus Explosive Growth Next, it was reported earlier this week that Google Plus reached 11.5 million users within 24 hours of opening the network up to users through invites from field test users. In turn, Google Plus actually grew by 22 percent in 24 hours. That rate is something that I think Zukerberg would even be impressed by.  But, I&#8217;m not surprised either. Google already has earned our trust and adoption and it&#8217;s always easier to add a new set of users to what might be seen as a feature to an existing technology, as opposed to adding users to brand new technologies all together. The Google Plus Directory Finally, did you know that there is now a Google Plus Directory where you can search other users through variety of different criteria.  The directory is actually a pretty helpful tool in locating other Google Plus users who might be of interest to you, so that you can easily add them to your own Google Plus Circles. During the final panel at the Ohio Growth Summit, a lady in attendance who was a Zoologist that studied trends in animal behavior throughout her career raised her hand and took the mic. Without being able to give you the exact quote, she gave the five of us praise for being the first in a line of small business entrepreneurs of our generation to align our own behaviors with the ideas of human business &#8211; sharing information, helping each other, developing trust, supporting our competitors and being willing to adopt the values of a grater community. I&#8217;ll admit, I was caught off guard by her compliment. For us Gen Y entrepreneurs (at least those of us at the summit), we&#8217;ve never really payed by any other rules. We like the happy sandbox in which we play, because it is built on a rock solid foundation of trust and relationships. And, in working together, we all make money. For the era of business folks who came before us, it seems that the rules of their sandbox were drastically different&#8230; The Happy Sandbox Manifesto In 1999, the four visionaries behind the Cluentrain Manifesto marked change by creating a declaration outlined in the first chapter of the book. 95 statements made up a manifesto that was digitally nailed to the doors of corporations everywhere. I&#8217;ll argue that this book and the statements made within the first few pages set the tone for the humanized web that a large majority of us now call our backyard in present day. While I won&#8217;t make any attempts to be as as influential as the four of them, the time for a new declaration that builds on their ideals has come. Me?  I&#8217;m a HUGE fan of SurveyGizmo&#8217;s (affiliate link) company culture.  So much so that this isn&#8217;t the first time I&#8217;ve written about them.  My first post was written way before I ever signed up for their affiliate program. Why am I a fan?  Why do I feel some sense of connectedness to the folks at SurveyGizmo? Aside from their great platform and customer service, they do a nice job of giving me a lens to their people, their office space and even what&#8217;s been happening over the past year in terms of their business.  I find that information fun and interesting, and they put a good deal of effort into leveraging transparency for all that it&#8217;s worth.
