About Nate
Nate specializes in helping mid-sized and enterprise companies use the web to win and keep the attention of their customers.
For the past 11 years, he’s advised companies like Bob Evans Farms, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Bayer Animal Health, Ohio University, ECOT and many others on how to produce compelling content for the web and use it to build, manage and grow social media communities of brand advocates. He leads social media strategy as the Director of Social Business at The Karcher Group, a digital agency that acquired his consulting firm (Social Business Strategies, LLC) in January of 2012.
Nate was also a key part of the founding team of Team Cbus, a content marketing production team founded in 2011 to compete in the Chevy SXSW Roadtrip Challenge, as well as Tweet My Time, the first distance racing twitter application developed as a product of Huber & Co. in 2010. Tweet My Time debuted in the Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon that year.
His blog on social media and content marketing {nateriggs.com} currently generates more than 12,000 new visitors monthly. He’s a regular contributor to the Content Marketing Institute, and has been featured in Chief Content Office Magazine, Spin Sucks, Social Fresh, The Wall Street Journal, Ohio News Network, Business First and more recently, USA Today and numerous other blogs and publications. His first book - The Art of Blogging - is due to be published by CMI Books in 2012.
