Dreams. I think that’s the reason we like to watch our kids sleep.

While they’re off dreaming of magical talking dinosaur robots, riding butterflies through rainbows of color and mountains of sugary cotton candy, our heads fill with our own dreams for our children. We dream of their boundless potential, their wide open future and all of the adventures that lie ahead.

Relish this little moments of calm and rest. Soon they’ll wake with overflowing enthusiasm, wide wide-eyed wonderment and endless questions. You should probably get to bed too. You’re going to need your energy.

Well said, sir. These moments are few and far between. This post (and Google’s wonderful and timeless memory) was really more for me and my own enjoyment. :)
