That's debatable. Things like location based apps are infants. What I don know is that businesses who get into a new technology earlier than their competition typically have the biggest success. Think about Zappos, Southwest, Dell, Citrix, etc. All of them dove in without really having a predictable outcome. They made mistakes early, learned from them and adjusted.
