		<description>It&#039;s important to remember that social media is in the toddler years of main stream, if it&#039;s even main stream at all.  That&#039;s debatable.  Things like location based apps are infants. 

What I don know is that businesses who get into a new technology earlier than their competition typically have the biggest success.  Think about Zappos, Southwest, Dell, Citrix, etc.  All of them dove in without really having a predictable outcome.  They made mistakes early, learned from them and adjusted.
