Chris Brogan has more social capital than anyone I know.  There’s obvious reasons for that.  Aside from being a true thought leader in new media communications, Chris is also a really genuine guy.  If you ask him, he will tell you that he simply loves people, and to prove this, he has been giving away free ideas and inspiring communities of people for years and expecting nothing in return.

Today, Chris did something I’ve never seen him do before.  He politely and respectfully asked for something from me.  He asked for my help in promoting Trust Agents, his book with co-author Julien Smith.

How could I possibly say no?  Chris has given me so much in the last two years since I’ve followed him and his tribe.  I actually consider it an honor to help him spread the word and sell his books.

I don’t exactly know what Trust Agent’s will contain, and frankly, I don’t need to.  That would ruin the fun of reading it.

I have enough content on Chris’s philosophy, his life, his work, and his character to know that buying and reading Trust Agents will be one of the best things I do for my own personal development during the course of this year.

My favorite book of 2008 was Seth Godin’s Tribes by a land slide.  To this point in 2009, my top pick has been Tactical Transparency by Shel Hotz and John C. Havens.  Within a few weeks, I’m looking forward to adding Trust Agents my top picks.

Go ahead.  Buy Trust Agents and see what these guys have to share with us.

My copy is already on the way.  Is yours?
