You are a powerful marketing communications channel.  Many people in your network and communities care about what you have to say and share.  Yesterday, when Bryan and I announced our strategic partnership, it was you who spread the word in a BIG way.

Here breakdown of the social media swarm:

  • The initial announcement launched at 11:37 a.m., with a single tweet from Bryan of less than 140 characters.
  • The first RT happened at 11:52 a.m. from our friend Becca Thompson (Thanks Becca!)
  • The huber + co. Facebook fan page started with 185 fans prior to the announcement yesterday.  We are now counting 256 total fans and growing every hour.
  • The huber + co bit.ly link received 144 clicks in less than three hours.  Clicks are still coming in as I write this. Here’s a snapshot from a few minutes ago:
  • We targeted the greater Columbus area with the announcement, yet received site visitors from all over the U.S., and even the U.K., Canada, Germany, Israel and a few other far off places.  That’s just wild.
  • You can follow the stream from #huberco and see who was instrumental in getting the message out.  We’re very grateful for each and every one of you who pitched in your own social graph!
  • The entire communication plan, from strategy through development and seeding was executed in less than 72 hours. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
(*A note to potential clients: this is a special case.  Client programs will take a bit longer. I can just see our project manager, Kristen shaking her head with dismay for me putting this in here. ;- )

Chatting over coffee with Mark Krantz yesterday, he was surprised to learn that Bryan actually had a team of people in the company.  Huber + Co. has spent the past six years ‘flying under the radar’, turning existing relationships into clients.  Thanks to you, and all the power you have as message amplifiers, we are now on radar in Columbus.  And we’re here to stay.

Your support was unreal, and we are grateful for YOU!
